The Vow

I, ___________________________________, having fully recognized my own fabulousness, do on this ___________________ day of ________________ in the year ____________________________ take an exquisitely healing and profoundly sincere Vow of Self Love.  I am willing to do the following things as a way of deeply loving my beautiful self:

• Be gentle with myself.

• Put myself first.

• Eat healthy food.

• Drink lots of water.

• REST when I need it.

• Get some fresh air every day.

• Exercise regularly.

• Use my energy wisely.

• Cut myself some slack and allow mistakes and the wondrous growth they bring.

This vow, while sincere, will never be used as an excuse for me to beat myself up.  I realize that sometimes I will forget.   I will remember on these days how very lovable I am, forgive myself and move forward with grace.

I vow to love myself and I allow all the good that will surely flow as a result of this life-affirming choice.
And so it is.
